Our Story

One idea, built on heat. Bring proper Nashville hot chicken to Adelaide, make it with halal certified suppliers and let everyone pull up a seat.

Hot honey Nashville chicken tender at Spicy Chick
How it started

Heat With a Backbone

Nashville hot chicken is loud by design. Crispy, fiery and finished with a sweet hot honey drip. We wanted Adelaide to taste the real thing, hand spiced and fried fresh to order rather than sitting under a lamp.

So we built Spicy Chick around three promises that never move. Always fresh. Always quality. Always halal. From the first basket in Malvern to Glenelg and Sefton Park, the recipe stays exactly the same.

Always fresh

Cooked to order, never sitting under a lamp.

Always quality

Real spice blends and proper buttermilk buns.

Always halal

Halal certified suppliers across every store.

The founder

Shahzaib Lakhani

Spicy Chick was founded by Shahzaib Lakhani with one mission, to bring proper Nashville hot chicken to Australia and do it right.

That same fire goes into every basket. Hand spiced, fried fresh and made with real passion. Taste it in every bite.

Made for everyone

Halal, No Compromise

Every Spicy Chick kitchen is built on halal certified suppliers. That means a mate, a family or a whole crew can roll in and order anything off the board without a second thought.

Same heat, same flavour, same quality. The only thing you need to decide is how hot you can handle it, from original right through to full Nashville hot.
